I agree with you. It is a major frustration to watch the GOP devolve into a bunch of whining children voting as a block to regain power, instead of acting in good faith on the part of the American people.

But being what it is, there's no sense in crying over it. Instead, we need to react to the current political reality and figure out how to achieve progress despite the intractability of the GOP.

Really? I know Washington didn't, but other than him, they seemed pretty darned political to me.
