Surely you've read or tried to read your auto, home, health, and other insurance policy and had to wade through the details. I'm sure you can handle it and so can I but knowing what I went through and having a good idea of what Joe Sixpack can do, I don't think it will happen by private for profit companies. Medicare, in that regard, is excellent. No snow jobs, and very helpful website and telephone staff... Having private companies compete is fine with me, but the GOP plan to allow nationwide companies is not going to save any money but for a very few and it will sure as hell add a lot of confusion to the average Joe.
