well, wouldn't a better solution be to repeal the anti-trust laws for the health industry and optimize regulations that create competitive forces that encourage private companies to compete across state lines? That would be better than to allow the government to compete. One of the good ideas I saw in the current health bill was the creation of a competitive exchange. I thought that was a good idea, because it helps to simplify and creates a marketplace where private companies have to compete for our business instead of us having such limited choices.
