Corporations lean more to their own particular interests than to "right" or "left", that having been said, Newscorp does indeed tilt to the right, but not the rest.

Disney distributed its PAC contributions to both parties but gave more to Barak Obama than any other candidate. Its lobbying isn't mostly left or right, but is on issues of IP, and other issues it considers related to its own profits. Its domestic partner benefits might not exactly be a leftist idea, but it shows something other than a strongly conservative bent. Maybe Disney was conservative when Walt was running the show but not anymore.

I am not talking how much they contribute to either party although over time Corp. contributions tend to favor the GOP rather than the Dems. Corps. are not stupid...they will give more to the one they think that will win. What I am talking about is the corp. philosophy that influences corp. production. In the case of the media, its the news and tv/film productions they present to Americans. The MSM feeds the American people news that has a definitive conservative salnt. In fact, the American MSM is so much in the pocket of Rs they agreed to be embedded with the US army during the Iraq war. That speaks volumes. We were in a war where the media agreed to tell only the gov't's version of the truth. Americans should have gone nuts but didn't.

Then there was the 2000 election where the election results in FLA were far less than honest. Because the election was so close and determined the fate of the presidential election, the election should have been redone. Instead, the media fed the fears that the GOP was promulgating 24/7......that we would not have a president and that without a president we would be subject to foreign attack bla, bla, bla. Of course, such an event like the FLA election was covered in the Constitution and Bill Clinton would have stayed in the presidency until the FLA election was resolved satisfactorily. Of course that was unacceptable to the Rs and the MSM so Americans were fed a lot of sh*t and there was a push to put into place the worst president in the history of the US. And this country is still paying the price for that nonsense and will for a long time into the future.

Nope, the notion that the MSM is liberal is another one of those GOP myths that has been fed this country for decades. Its a lot of BS.
