I do not claim to be an intellectual. I am simply saying how important education is. Nothing more. My only claim for myself is that I respect my ignorance!!!!!!!! I am just an average guy who has a lot of respeect for how ignorant I am and our species, and believe the only way out is education. And this is important for people to keep harping on given todays anti intellectual atmosphere pushed by the right wing. I have watched the right wing's hero Palin, time after time, say and I quote!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"we do not need some college professor lecturing to us we need a leader (praphrased). And I have heard her call the highly educated eltists and say the highly educated think they are suprior to we common folks and maybe they need to listen to us and our common sense (paraphrased). No such thing as common sense! Bush used to brag about being a C student. C students are C students because they miss a lot of questions! And his presidency showed he was a C student. Palin could have gotten us all killed she is so ignorant. Palin was my governor and thinks at the high school level. I have also seen huge crowds at church meetings talking about the east coast elitist intellectuals and how dumb they are. And just recently the entire Republican leadership made fun of global warming and what a fraud it was based on an east coast snow storm. Mcconell, Inhofe, etc, which was stupid of them. Most right wingers cannot even wrap their mind around evolution and do not believe in it and even less in gobal warming. Much less. Personally, I think the human species is much more primitive than we understand and we are all crazy.
