Some disappointing news (but a few days old, as I'm still getting forwarded magazines). PC Magazine just did a review of DVD kits - Creative was NOT included.

Not sure why - perhaps they were in the transition to the new drive when the review was done, and didn't want to have the old drive reviewed.

Unfortunately, I have NOT yet attempted to get a (1) flight; (2) hotel; (3) a rental car; and last, but not least, (4) a tee off time.

RE: Rental car.
ROTFL. Thats a good one. And where would you park it? The best bet in travel is to take the airport shuttle to your hotel. Then either walk or take a shuttle bus to the convention center. They bring in a fleet of greyhound size buses to shuttle between the hotels. The line for a bus is typically only a 1/2 an hour. Much better than the cab lines.

RE: Craps table
Played for about six hours on 50-60 dollars. About the cost of a room I figure. Plus I played downtown at the Horseshoe on a $1 table with 10x odds (you can get 100x odds now). Three to four in the morning is the best time to get to know the dealers. They were quite willing to share betting tips.
