The United States is a beacon of freedom for the world and has been since it was founded. People like you always bring up the Indian wars and slavery like some predictable sophomoric "aces in the hole" debating technique. Well, I know more Indians than white people and I can tell you that you are the one that is sopping up pop culture fabrications. Indians were slaughtering each other long before the white man showed up. And if they had had steel, they would have slaughtered a hell of a lot more. Christ, the slave culture among Indians from Oregon to Alaska was one of the most brutal the world has ever known. This whole idea that Indians were peace loving people and "one with the earth" is a crock. A Hollywood fiction. The truth is that the Indians were damn good fighters, and the War Department jumped at the chance to sign treaties because they were tired of losing men. Hell, the Navajos have a land base larger than many states, and not because they were nice guys. Your fixation on America's genocidal, slave past is getting more pathetic with each passing day. It's the last safe refuge for your ilk because you know the United States is the least homophobic, least misogynistic, least racist country in the world. But all of this is a waste of time. As Roosevelt said, "It's not having been in the dark house, it's having left it that counts." And those ideals written on scraps of paper you poo poo so easily have been the driving force behind the transformation of America into the greatest, most socially just country the world has ever seen. Makes me want to stand up and salute the flag. That is all.
