It is very elementary you twit. Analysts have already projected FY2000 revs to be 550 million. I have not stated that. It has been stated that ABTX is 12-18 months ahead of shedule. Not hard to do math here. FY1999 550 million in revs, FY 2000 700 million+.
My personal guess is to believe in those numbers. If we are looking at over 400 million unrealized by end of FY1998, then that leaves about 700 million in unclaimed revs to be got.Got it? Now, as ABTX stretches its domination over the industry this year, they will be the main player that the remaining seed companies will want to do business with. Even with some competition, I see ABTX getting 50% of the remaining 700 million, and that my fellow thread writer is about 750 million. In the meantime, I expect ABTX to further develop its germplasm research to "get ready" for life after the completion of the "Acquisition Program". Also, I anticipate more deals with major companies like MTC or even DKB to boost revs. Not rocket science.
I know you won't appreciate this, so it is mostly for the enjoyment of those positive and long on ABTX. You know who you are.
As far as your comments on fluff, every day I hear fluff on CNBC by analysts who think we will see 10000 by early next year, and others saying 5000 by early next year. Obviously someone is going to be wrong, so the point is: to a certain extent we all speculate. ABTX has been moving right along with its plan, and thus far, noone has come in to be a competitor. So the seed companies are there for the picking. This forum is open to all-positive or negative. So, give your best shot to trash a company that has gone up 400% in the last 6 months, has inreased revs tremendously, beat the street expectation last quarter handily(revs and eps), and is the number one seed company in its industry. Go ahead and try it. I dare you-many have tried and not come back. If I can't do it, then Archie will try, then, whoa man, then comes the MIGHTY Anette. She is the one who "Maneater" is based upon. Remember that golden oldie from Hall and Oates? You don't want to cross the Anette factor. It wouldn't be pretty for you, but we would enjoy it. We've been here a long time and we all know where we are and where we are going. We are a strong group.
