sorry, my response was in jest, just because of the takeover rumors on this thread and the recent good news announcements countered with the forecast announcement.

i agree with you on your analysis as to why of the revenue shift.

I seriously doubt it has anything to do with an acquisition price
target.

Merger mania may have gone too far, here (and you know I believe that one is in the works).

Shifting of revenue from 1Q98 to later in the year seems -- as you say -- irrelevant vis-a-vis the issue of any acquisition.
