I was putting compost on my tire bed (this isn't mine) I put window screen on the bottom, grow taters. Otherwise, gophers get them.

My younger daughter and her boyfriend are both master gardeners. He works in a gardening place. Boy they are into it. And she is a vegetarian, so it works out well. I get a kick out of their enthusiasm. Seems like a nice clean healthy interest in life-lol. Parents with kids who like to garden, usually do not have much trouble with them.
