Don't know if you saw the recent vid Smithee posted on the Video thread? It is a perfect illustration the lack of seriousness on the part of the powers that be and how unconcerned they are about crimes and truth and punishment in our society. Young thugs with great big chips on their shoulders and felony murder convictions are running around intimidating people all over the place. It seems Amy B's case is just small potatoes and not worth bothering anybody with or spending money to investigate. In reality, and since the law doesn't take matters into hand and lock these people away, we're all on our own and our safety is our own responsibility. We must pray we aren't ever in the wrong place at the wrong time, or the victim of random violence perpetrated by unfettered bin loons.
