My wife & sister were teachers too. In fact we all went to Penn State together to earn our degrees. The courses they took were a joke compared to mine. They absolutely hated having to listen to me mock the courses they were required to take but they admited I was right. They hated my POV about teaching as a profession even more. They were dedicated, hard working & caring teachers who put in scads of extra time to do their jobs well. But they also grudgingly admitted I was right. Both left the profession because of how the unions & libs screwed things up so bad that they could not handle the stress because their hands were tied to the rules & regs that created the problems. Keep in mind I'm not saying teachers are overpaid & over worked. I'm saying they absolutely are not underpaid & under worked.
