Cable modems will eventually force lower prices on t1 lines as the phone companies incent customers to data over copper rather than coax. Two-way coax will take a long time to roll-out but the threat of market share gains by the cable companies should accelerate spending by the RBOCS (PAIR's customers). PAIR is sitting pretty with a suite of small subscriber systems products which should enable a reacceleration of sales growth starting in Q4.

Longer-term, PAIR should be a player in carrier call-termination access multiplexers (DSLAM's) when ADSL finally develops. PAIR seems destined to be a key player in the development of high-speed access.
