No, he wasn't.

After making that statement, which was based on the sound bites offered by the MSM, and then seeing your post, I pulled up his statement.

It is here, and really deserves to be read in the context he provided, rather than the spun treatment from the media.

Stack was certainly not a Tea Party type.

He was a guy who was poorly advised, made a number of mistakes in trying to game the tax code, and was harshly dealt with by a system that he correctly states, is in desperate need of an overhaul.

He is like a lot of Americans, desperately trying to be heard, with bona fide issues and used this tack to try and get his story told.

The argument is well illustrated and constructed, and I think deserves to be read, as he wrote it.
