I have worked at every job on earth it seems to me, in my life time. I am an old guy with a long memory. Fry cook, labor union, fruit picking to canning factories, to school teacher, janitor to realtor, to state director. I spent half my time in the private sector and half in the public. If there is not countervaling checks and balances in all occupations people will take advantage of other people. Best example was the feudal lords and peasants of the middle ages. The peasants life was pure hell!!! Corporations are the worst for an interesting reason. By their very nature they have no conscience. We call people like that sociopaths and they are the ones who fleece people in real estate, bank loans, etc. Real estate companies and stock brokers have training tapes that show how to fleece people (e.g. don't let client think about it overnight). Lots of lies and tricks. Like Kirby vacuum cleaner sellers do. Since 1980 there has been a full court press by the rich and powerful to bust all unions and they have gone from 35% to 12% approximately. And over the last 30 years the rich have gotter richer and the poor poorer. If you are rich you probably don't care, but if you are poor---well?; and if you are a humanitarian----well?!
