And that was clearly evident already to any knowledgeable observer in 1980.

Also, besides Star Wars, that $100s of Bns drain on the economy (was that paid for by supply side economics or capital gains tax cuts?), the terrible mistaken 30 year delay in energy reform due to him and the rapid rise in deficits that he started what else is there remember him for?

Oh yeah, the repugs named an airport after him.

That just meant he was a ton more popular than Mondale.

But his average approval rating for his two terms was 52%, about average for the last ten Presidents.
