Alex it appears downsizing is starting again. To soon to tell but it will be intersting to see the next employment figures.

Alex,
Protectionism was rampant in the depression & the '70s, and happened a very little in early '80s almost none in the late '80s. I'll bet one more run at something we have proven never works. Except, This time it will be Europe vs. N. America vs. S.E. Asia.

An interesting graph. I have posted this in other threads and am criticized for doing so. Some say the graph is incorrect, or misleading, etc. Draw your own conclusions. When you arrive there you can navigate the site by removing the [dji20-90.gif] after the backslash and re-load. It is a useful site.
