I think the thesis today is really the survival of the human species. And, IMO, this requires we think more logically and move as quickly as possible from myth to reason.

That means massive education. Maybe the internet and google will do the trick??

Not that I hold out much hope we will be able to make the changes quickly enough to avoid, say, nuclear war. People seem to be lazy thinkers by nature.

Been reading "Brainchildren" by Dennett and "How the Mind Works by Steven Pinker. Bottom line, what we think we know and are is pure fantasy. The mind works much differently than almost anyone realizes.
