"Mass and energy are interchangeable but conserved, meaning they cannot be created or destroyed."

"Subquantum Kinetics: A Systems Approach to Physics and Cosmology", by Paul A. LaViolette

Subquantum kinetics is a revolutionary physics methodology that was inspired by advances in our understanding of how non-equilibrium reaction systems spawn self-organising wave patterns. Replacing the fragmented and self-contradictory framework of modern physics, subquantum kinetics opens the door to a truly elegant unified field theory. Electromagnetic, gravitational, and nuclear potential fields all emerge from a single set of non-linear equations representing subquantum processes postulated to take place throughout all space. It is the first fundamental theory to have its predictions of the nucleon's energy potential profile later confirmed by particle scattering form factor data. This approach, which is consistent with the ideas of Whitehead, Einstein, de Broglie, and Feynman, provides answers to many fundamental questions: Namely, how does the subquantum matrix generate the zero-point energy continuum and spawn the formation of matter? How do charge and mass come into being and how do they generate fields consistent with the laws of electrostatics and gravitation? Subquantum kinetics also lays the foundations for a new wave theory of matter. Its non-dispersing, periodic structures resolve the wave-particle dualism and produce de Broglie wave diffraction effects consistent with observation.

The Bloom Box is fuel cell which can use natural gas or similar gases to make electricity.

Fuel cells can have an efficiency about twice as good as the best NG gas turbines.

Also, making electricity on site avoids the transmission losses.

So for a large user of electricity, there can be cost savings compared to utility power.

Look at what the economics MIGHT be -

Cost of natural gas might be roughly similar to what a utility would pay.

More efficient (fuel cells vs. gas turbines)
Avoid transmission loss (power lines and sub station transformers)

Capture the generation profit
Capture the transmission profit

Avoid paying any stranded costs for decommissioned coal plants, nuclear plants, or building new nuke plants ($)
Avoid paying the subsidies that utilities are forced to pay for solar wind etc.
Avoid paying for utility subsidies of 1) poor people and 2) favored industries, like the deals that were cut for foreign car plants in Southern states.
So you can avoid the social engineering costs that politicians like to hang on utilities.

So take all these cost savings and compare to the capital cost of X number of Bloom boxes.

Now look at Shale gas pushing down the price of natural gas - that cost drops, but all the other cost will stay the same.

The Bloom box people don't need to make it economical enough to power your home - just medium size business locations like Wal-Marts and Staples.

******

Assuming this fuel cell is economical, what will be the effect on NG use ?

If this displaces coal fired electricity, it will increase NG use.

If this displaces NG gas turbine electricity, it will decrease NG use, since the fuel cell is more efficient and transmission loss is avoided.
