Thanks scott, I like Kunstler a lot and try not to miss him.. He is one talented fellow, writing and painting and all the while being a damn good futurist.. The name of his blog even spells out the "state of the nation" .. I don't know when he started CF nation but the name pretty well nails it on where we are at now, imo.. On his artistry, I think I can tell where his heart is.. Where mine is too, a place of tranquility and simple beauty.. People like this, imo, want the above so badly, they just can't stand fakery, illusion and bullshit, etc. because that gets in the way of this.. So sometimes they just have to strike out hard in their work in an effort to make a wake up call His writings are hard and his artistry is soft in my view. That's what I am going on.. kunstler.com
