We shouldn't let one person's vitriolic attacks distort perceptions. SI is Botox's soapbox. If you want the simple unadorned facts about how most Canadians feel, look at Operation Yellow Ribbon, or the Canadian Caper to find out: en.wikipedia.org en.wikipedia.org It's been a long marriage on a long border with you guys - and just like a marriage, it doesn't always go smoothly. If you think it's easy, just picture living beside another superpower, like China: can you imagine how difficult it would be for you? Despite occasional friction and criticism we get on remarkably well. The reality is that Canadians like Americans, even when they oppose US government policies - as many do, outside and inside the US. We already know what Botox will say, so I put him on ignore. It's just his embarrassing over-the-top rant; it ain't gonna change anything. For a northern neighbor, the US could do worse than Canada. That's the truth. But we have our haters. Jim
