The really BIG TRENDS like this play out over longer spans of times. They play out over DECADES at minimum. (For example: look at society's increasing acceptance of homosexuality since... say... the nineteen fifties when it was roundly unaccepted in most society. EACH decade since has seen increasing acceptance, and that's the kind of "social" attitudes that I am talking about that play-out over decades. Did you see how the libertarian-leaning [and VERY '20-something'] audience at CPAC warmly welcomed the GOP Gay group... and booed the speaker who spoke out a'gin him?) Not FISCAL Conservatism... and Small Government... we could use a TON more of that!
