I am not sure you understood me. Whose to day they didn't start negotiating with the single payer option and worked their way down to the public option? I don't think the problem is the way they negotiated the deal. I think they finally got the ball, became paralyzed with fear and couldn't run with it. The Rs, their former masters, have told them if they run with the ball they won't score a TD but instead will be kicked out of office come November.....and they believe them. All I smell is fear.
