I don't believe your reference to 'statistics'. And I am not sure at all that I understand what you mean by "lots of social issues that should not be liberalized" (nor what "liberalized" even means in this context). The point I made earlier was that social changes, social mores, change on LONG baselines (not short-term like year to year). And that the long history of this great nation has be to G-R-A-D-U-A-L-L-Y, step-by-step, almost inch by inch, move to expand upon and fulfill the original grand promises of 'freedom' that were made at our very founding.... Voting for non-landowners. Voting for women. Voting for non-whites. No diminution of constitutional civil rights for anyone. Etc., etc.
