What will anyone benefit from a couple of thin paragraphs from an Internet poster? I take your point. My question wasn't asked from the perspective of your ability to affect the outcome. I was asking you as someone I perceive to be a responsible voter who seems to have taken a side how confident you are that you have chosen a side that won't produce an even worse fiscal time bomb. That has been my major concern, particularly given how further entitlements make recovery from a mistake all but impossible in a democracy. I have searched but found no cause for optimism anywhere. I don't know how many times I have to say that I don't get down into the weeds on this issue like that. I am aware of that, which is why I asked you a macro question, what I believe to be THE macro question, rather than a weedy one. By default, though, you have answered my question. So thanks.
