What about the people already in the DROP system or who have already retired with promised 80-90% pensions? They made it in under the wire?

Where the money comes from to pay the public sector. Taxpayer money. They do understand however when wall street gets bailed out with taxpayer money and wall street gets bigger bonuses. That's a start.

I think we will also see municipalities seeking Chapter 9 bankruptcy relief when they realize their tax base can no longer support the accumulated obligations. govinfo.library.unt.edu ...and your dialogue concerning unions, particularly the obvious point that management signed on at some point to all of these ridiculous union situations, both public and private, is well formed. The same theme of the "culprits" sitting at the bottom of the food chain, wrecking the economy, while management and/or banks get fat is ludicrous to any thinking person.
