Venkie,

On CNBC today, a fund manager (I didn't take notes, so can't provide his name) stated that a lot of fund money is still on the sidelines, because the managers think the market is going to dip again, to about 7000 DOW. He noted that most of the buying going on now is smaller investors taking advantage of the bargains. Also said that if the market doesn't dip again, he will be back in beginning of December,
because that is traditionally a very strong month for market.

Earlier this morning, another fund manager (right, I didn't take notes), who was being interviewed because of his stellar performance this year, attributed part of his success to DELL. His fund only holds about 35 equities at one time. When asked if he was buying or selling DELL, he answered 'buying', because of several factors which should provide outstanding returns for next several years: DELL's marketing model, DELL's expansion into portables, DELL's lease program, DELL's increased economies due to cheaper components. He was on about 0830-0930.
