Kimberly-Clark (KMB) Increases Quarterly Dividend 10% to $0.66; Yields 4.4%

Kimberly-Clark Corporation (NYSE:KMB - News) today said its board of directors has approved a dividend increase of 10 percent. This will bring the quarterly dividend to $0.66 per share, up from $0.60 per share in 2009. The increase represents an annualized rate of $2.64.

The board of directors declared the dividend payable on April 5, 2010, to stockholders of record on March 5, 2010. The ex-dividend date is March 3, 2010.

Yield on the dividend is 4.4%.

Yes, that gets to the heart of my question. Thanks for the reply.

FWIW, <ggg>, KMB is on my list and I began sketching in the first acquisitions by submitting bids/limit orders based on weekly and daily charts and my initial sketched in limit for KMB is 59.01, but will refine that order as I narrow my list -- sort of putting out a fishing net for my list and seeing if I can catch any bargains before I begin bearing down on opening positions in the remaining stocks on the list.

Have decided to borrow dabum's approach of limiting myself to 2 positions (3 in rare circumstances) in individual sectors... e.g., I have EPB and EPD; T and VZ, etc.; though I'm having trouble deciding on what to pair with DEO and with O...
