CAVEAT EMPTOR...

Stan Weinstein had the WORST record, if I recall correctly, of any newsletter writer with 10 year records as tracked by Mark Hulbert. I've read Weinstein's book and like parts of it, but his track record has to make you wonder.

I used AIQ for several years and have just cancelled by Interactive Data monthly subscription. They charge $25/mo for data that goes one year back. It is downloadable after 5:30 EDT and until the markets open the next morning, I believe.

I wouldn't recommed AIQ, although I had the DOS version of TradingExpert. Maybe the Windows version is a lot better. However, I found their expert ratings and ranking systems, which I don't think were changed much if at all between DOS and windows versions, totally worthless.

AFter studying TA for years, I think it must work for some few special people, but it sure hasn't worked for me. About the only thing I would endorse is an observation I got from Trader Vic Sperandeo, i.e. Never buy a stock that is trading below its 200 day moving average.
