Berkeley Mac Users Group is the largest. It is sad and ironic how it resembles AAPL in its misfortunes and path to apparent recovery:

The site will link you to other MUG branches throughout the USA . Note the hardware only comment about the coming 11/10/97 announcements.

The meeting's leader urges the attendees to focus their comments on the effort to recover . Sound familar ?
