I want them to pay back all the tax cuts they got since Reagan "Since" meaning since Reagan was elected or since he left office? I assume the former, since rates now are higher than the later. You want 70% top tax rates?!? Not only are such rates unjust, and harmful to the economy, and higher than almost any other countries rates, they also are counterproductive even from the narrow perspective of maximizing federal revenue. You'd get more revenue from lower rates than that. As for "paying back", there is nothing to pay back. A tax cut isn't giving to them, its taking less from them. They have still been doing the giving the whole time. They haven't had a free ride, they have been the main payers for the ride. They pay a large percentage of tax revenue than they did before the Reagan cuts.
