stock bull, [I don't know what you already know] the image has to reside on a server. That way, after someone opens your SI post, SI can fetche the image and show it.

SI no longer uses photothing as an image server, so posters use their own or other freely available servers.

you cannot paste your image into your SI post. You can only paste text.

I use free photobucket to host charts I've made.

If you decide to choose a hosting service, then you upload your image to it. After that someone here can show you how to put the image link into a post so the image shows
