I think the people who shorted DEll were very brave, but with patience they got profits too. I think I like it better than options because there is no time limit, you just wait for a good correction. (assuming you were right of course and the market sees it as overvalued too) I wonder if looking through IBD and finding companies selling many many times over their growth rate would get me good ones. Except the favorite sector of the day. I would think shorting the favorite sector of the day is a loser, because the market seems to just keep bidding those up. But of course, that's temporary too. I'm riding FGII up right now (I have the stock) but do not understand how people can buy a company, albeit a good one, that has such a huge market cap and such a low (in comparison) revenues number.
But then the market doesnt always make sense, especially short term.
Incidentally, wish I had CISCO instead of COMS, look at their chart.
