People tend to forget Mish led a revolt against TARP, calls for abolishment of the Fed, hasn't been a fan of the Treasury, and has called for indictments against bankers. Mish has not taken BOs stance that the bankers are savvy and deserve their bonuses. I can't recall a post where Mish was apologetic of bankers. While its true the recent volume of posts have been weighted towards public sector pay and benefits, to call Mish apologetic of the bankers and political elites is a rewrite of history worthy of Barny Frank.
