Yeah, well something needs to change because they're still using derivatives and even NEW ones. These things are so complicated that they require a P.H.D. in physics to figure them out, so there's NOBODY bright enough to regulate or even understand them. If they want to create that stuff and take ALL the liability on themselves without threatening US, then they can go ahead, but when they threaten the whole financial system with every crazy derivative Gimmick then the rest of us should OBJECT and Congress should make SURE it doesn't happen. The Volcker Rule is a good start on that.
