I thought HD/Blue Ray was a done deal but Jobs doesn't like Blue Ray

You're correct HD is dead and buried and Jobs doesn't like the licensing issues with Blue Ray.

I think the question was why there isn't a Blue Ray drive with Macs.

HD DVD was killed off a couple years ago. All the PC vendors are using Blu Ray now.

Yes, the market battle between HD DVD and Blu-ray is over. Blu-ray won.

I'm not sure why Jobs still hasn't come around on Blu-ray, unless he just doesn't like the licensing terms. It is true that Blu-ray still has very limited market penetration.

Sorry about that.

At first I thought: "Man I'm losing it. It clearly says 2005! I AM going senile!"

Then I looked at the top of the page and it has TODAY'S DATE for stock quotes, that's what tripped me up.

Whew!!! I guess I still have most of my brain intact.

I HOPE! Sometimes I wonder...
