EVG has done a lot of things wrong, imo and EAS has been doing them right so I would argue that EVG did things to themselves that resulted in the thrashing that the market has given them. I appreciate that there are times when the market pays no attention to fundamentals, but it seems to me that EAS is moving steadily into a category that is populated by just a handful of companies. Will this increase the probability of dirty tricks to free up shares? Who knows, I guess we will get to find out...

I'll disagree with you on that one. IMO, technical analysis is the driving force when a company is in a steady state of growth or decline, but when said company fundamentally changes, as when an exploreco opens up a deposit, then the game changes accordingly.

The amount of trading variance may change from company to company depending on market cap issues and the like, but I really don't think every company always conforms to the same set of technical rules.
