Me, too, John.

And I always thought the term came into being after a Rick Santelli rant about taxes going up. He yelled something about the country needing another Boston Tea Party.

At any rate, I think most people see the term in that vein.

I don't know that Anderson Cooper scored any points with the public by putting the sexual spin on the term. Tea-bagging is mainly a homosexual act, and Anderson Cooper is himself gay. The whole thing was gross and inappropriate to lots of people and a stupid thing for Cooper to say.
