I particularly liked the post where someone on that thread hoped chemo would fail for a democrat. I think that's swell- and I noticed no one uttered a peep about it. Sad, really. The entire democratic party is also regularly called communist- but no doubt they think that's "true" so it's not namecalling.

Ridicule and derision It is inappropriate whether it comes from the left or the right and it does come from both. The fact that some people act badly does not mean that all should do so. My point is not a liberal or conservative point, it is an appeal for all that can to act better (even me). It is a point about acting in a civil way regardless of what you may have seen. It is about setting an example. It doesn't seem that controversial to me.
