It has dragged on far too long, no doubt. But this forum has more eyes on it than almost any other legislative discussion since O took office. I'm as cynical as anyone but the obstructionists are having a difficult time showing themselves to be exactly what they are. If any discussion has a chance of moving something forward, this is it.

I'm sure John is glued to the set but I muted my TV when it started today then switched to a Brian Dennehy movie at 2PM. Unglued now. Watched 90%. Big event. And watched a very wet, very heavy snow fall through the day. Limbs coming down; would not be surprised if power goes off during the night. Since the heavy snow was not supposed to start until this evening. Cars are having a very difficult time getting up the slight hill just outside our house. The street is usually kept well cleaned by the boro but for some reason, they have not done so today. Doesn't bode well for the night.
