Winger leaders are forever tripping themselves up

That applies to both right-wingers and left-wingers.

No, it doesn't.

"The high cost of this bill comes from a non-constitutional mandate," Grassley said in an exchange with President Obama.

...

This is the same Chuck Grassley (R-Iowa) who told Fox News last summer, "I believe that there is a bipartisan consensus to have individual mandates.... There isn't anything wrong with it."

You find an example of someone who repudiates his earlier position, apparently (but not definitely your source could have easily have left that part out) without recognizing he used to present a different opinion. Do you know how many times politicians of all stripes, including liberal democrats, do that? Unfortunately it seems to be second nature to the political class.

Grassley has been doing it ad nauseum and consistently for over a year. I respect a person who after considerable thinking, changes his/her position. However, one who changes it weekly to reflect current GOP winds or because they fear the wrath of the crazy tea baggers gets no respect from me.

Besides a change to the correct opinion is an improvement to be desired <g>

You're incorrigible.

This is typical of the garbage coming from GOP leaders. You should pay more attention.

Rep. Broun Compares Obama To "Dead Man Walking Around With No Soul"

February 24, 2010 6:07 pm ET
by Walid Zafar

Speaking on the House floor last night, Rep. Broun (R-GA) labeled President Obama's economic agenda "voodoo economics."

His reasoning: "you have to be a dead man walking around with no soul to believe" it.

BROUN: He and his administration have used what I call voodoo economics. The reason I call it voodoo economics is because you have to be a dead man walking around with no soul to believe the economic parameters of the economic issues that they put in place. But this, this Obamacare raises taxes and will raise taxes on virtually everybody.

Still another example......I could go on for days. And this isn't a gaffe like Biden might make.....but rather this is typical of the outrageous commentary one can expect from the right these days.
