"pages and pages"... Yea, well vs THOUSANDS of pages per year and HUNDREDS of other scientist listed in EACH EDITION including those. Common... it's just silly... AND you're still WAY OFF on this Dawkins tangent when: The issue is DARWIN and what he means in history. You're saying that is being dictated by not only one guy but ONE comment by that guy... out of HUNDREDS of other comments he has probably as made about Darwin and his science. The fact remains... Darwins legacy is ALL ABOUT EVOLUTION. The only reason God has come into it is because some people think EVOLUTION AND GOD DONT MIX. That's the real issue... the wacko misunderstanding of God. When wacko's update their God, the whole issue goes away... as will Dawkins. As I've said... he's just a real putz that likes the limelight... and the "creationists" types give him that platform. Hell, I'm probably atheist towards most of the (ideas of) "gods" he rails about also... go figure. DAK

BTW... it's about the third time we've been around to this (IMHO) way off base topic about Darwin & Dawkins... IMHO your argument is with MEDIA, not science... and once you get THERE, it's actually quite insane to worry about DAwkins and his books when you've got the nasty stuff going down on TV and the rest of the media to compare it to. As I"ve said before... with all the troubles going on in the world and US society in particular, to worry about science is just crazy and you have to be a WACKO religionist to harp over and over on these (tiny) issues when there is so much one could be doing where it really counts. Therefore you are on ignore. I'll post here when there are relevant EVOLUTION topics I come across or other SANE people come aboard. Until then, good luck with your (entirely misguided) quest... DAK
