The saddest thing is that most of those people who need the health care the most are not on Silicon investor. They also are not able to do much politically except at a big election time.

They write to the president about a particular predicament they are in with regards to health care and he mentioned that..

They are the SILENT MAJORITY to coin a phase by some well known POLITICIAN....

One of the reasons I believe that Obama got elected and these people came out in droves was their hope for health reform.

Then they just are not part of any political action group nor are they sophisticated to be part of a mainstream group
and I suspect that those who are vocal about not wanting health reform... besides those old white folks to whom you referred Dale.... are those with vested INTERESTS....Not those caring citizenry who want what is good for all and not just
for THEM.. We seem to have lost that ability to truly care about others in our society. Except when Haiti has a crisis and then we rise to the occasion. We have a crisis here
but is subtle, unexplained and played out to those who
have computers,TVs and who are wooed by the lies on Fox.

I have my doubts that anything will get done and in the interim a lot of the big insurance companies continue to raise premiums. I think that the last one I read about was Wellpoint.
