Well, if the Dems pass it through reconciliation, that's a high risk game. The latest polls show that the GOP has won the propaganda war. A majority of Americans don't want the Dems to ram it through in reconciliation. So if they do, right or wrong, there will be consequences in November.

Again, I think the Dems have the right ideas, but there execution is leaving much to be desired. If I were Obama, I'd work with Reid and Pelosi to disaggregate the beast and pass a piece of it at a time, explaining everything to the American people in 3rd grade English what we're getting.

Like it or not, McCain was right about "process". The process has been horribly distasteful to Americans. I personally am sick and tired of the debate. It's been going on for a year and I still have no freaking idea what's in that bill and whether or not it's a good thing...and I'm no dummy and am not easily swayed by GOP antics and rhetoric.
