Yes, in theory Socialism is the transitional stage towards Communism. Follow the rules comrade...or else. LOL! You probably remember how in the 60s-70s Soviets used to lock up dissidents in psych hospitals. The logic was that it was not sane to rebel against a social order which was "scientifically" known to be on the cutting edge of history. The real goof was that only relatively very few of the psychiatrists or KGB or police who were involved in that were really true believers in their own bullsh*t theories.
