Hey cheer up - what's the name of AAPL's 11/10/97 product ? G 3 ?

About IBM's POWER3 due 2/98 - keep the "3" in mind :

chips.ibm.com

Expect to hear the INTC faithful rave after Friday's INTC conference about INTC's 64 bit chip ...except its 2 years away and at what price ???

To the INTC faithful I say unto thee: " 4 Q "... er " G 3 " !

Jim K.

<Apparently many educators have questioned the advertisement as not containing the proper use of language.>

The phrase "the proper use of language" makes my skin crawl. The excerpt you posted, Bob, is ample evidence of why the U.S. educational system needs to reaffirm its relationship with Apple.

Heaven (and Steve Jobs) only knows how this is going to take shape come Monday.

Hope things are going your way today,

Mark

Stop it, Bob, that brings tears to my eyes. Lawdy, hand me a Kleenex. Gee, did these "grammarians" mess themselves when Kimberly-Clark chose that name over the more properly spelled "Cleanex"? Did the Wall Street Journal write about it? Literary license and rule-bending have always been a given when it comes to corporate logos, or naming and advertising a product, unless your name happens to be Apple Computer.

Think bigly. Think fastly.
