Seppo, even the cars are getting smaller. Sure we will not shrink to mice size (who knows maybe we will one day???) but cars will be making lot more than 100 miles/gallon. They already are experimenting on hybrid engines (gas+electric). Surely anything that moves will need a mechanical device but like in the hybrid engine, computer is the part that dictates when the engine will be powered by gas or electric. Along with that, just as an example, today's teleconferencing technology keeps cutting the amount of traveling everyday (one field where electronic means replacing mechanical means). You never know, maybe 10 years from now, people won't be going to office everyday anymore.
