For Arakis holders, it mainly means that there's no immediate prospect of a buyout by a major Amewrican oil company.> I bought this lemon for it's vitamin C. A takeover bid would create a sudden price increase, but if sucessful would put an end to the exploration opportunity Arakis has to offer in Sudan. The way I see it the State Department seems to be acting as a poison pill preventing a takeover bid while Arakis builds up the reserves to elevate the stock price and survive. Ed
