Yes, I knew that. Ending Medicare Advantage is a no-brainer it seems to me, and those Rs who tried to defend it yesterday were irritating. The thing was always a backdoor sop to the private insurers no matter how the Rs tried to argue it. My point is simply that Medicare itself will soon need to be subsidized. If the cost savings from ending Medicare Advantage are transferred over to help subsidize a new program, then what happens when Medicare funds are exhausted?

My question is a nuts and bolts question....not a 'fairness' question. As I recall, this question was asked of Obama yesterday, but I don't think he answered it?
