By our count, eight of the reconciliation bills were initiated by a Democratic-controlled Congress. The rest, 14, were done by a Republican-controlled Congress.

Maddow said it was 16 for the Rs but why quibble.

China having to import coal???! Very bullish!

"2. China's coal imports remained high in January, as power plants increased coal inventories in preparation for use during the Spring Festival holiday in February.

January coal imports soared 438.3 percent year on year to 16.08 million metric tons (tonnes), according to customs data."

And how many times did the GOP use it to ram through a bill where the reconciliation wasn't just a minor technical matter, and the bill itself represented a major increase in government, not just some relatively small program?

Mindmeld, > Ramming it through only works when you are ahead in the propaganda war.
